We provide access to parks for the local communities. There are three sports parks in our precinct and a park on Lake Conroe. More information about the parks and pictures are below.

West Montgomery County Park
West Montgomery County Park, located at 16716 FM 149, Montgomery, Texas, 77356, is a 50 acre park with five lighted baseball fields, four lighted softball fields, two football fields, restrooms, three concession stands and picnic areas.
West Park is maintained by Montgomery Youth Sports Association (MYSA) and Montgomery Girls Softball Association (MGSA). North County Football League (NCFL), Montgomery Youth Sports Association (MYSA) and Montgomery Girls Softball Association (MGSA) provide the recreational programs.

Gene Campbell Sports Complex
The park is located at 3200 FM 1484, Conroe, Texas 77303, is a 60-acre facility with six lighted baseball fields, six lighted softball fields, concessions and restrooms. Sports programs are offered through Conroe Area Youth Baseball (CAYB) and Conroe Area Girls Softball Association (CAGSA).
Private use of the fields requires prior permission from Montgomery County and the ball association and is subject to availability.

Charles Traylor Memorial Park
Charles Traylor Memorial Park, located at 13551 Rogers Road, Willis, Texas 77378, is a 61 acre facility with eight lighted baseball fields, four lighted softball fields, one regulation lighted football field and covered horse arena with concession stands and restrooms.
The baseball and softball programs are offered through Willis Youth Athletic Association and Willis Girls Softball Association. Football is offered through North County Football League.

Lake Conroe Park on Hwy 105
Lake Conroe Park, located at 14968 Hwy 105 West, Montgomery, Texas 77356, sits on the west shores of Lake Conroe and offers 13 acres of grounds, barbeque pits, picnic facilities and restrooms as well as swimming areas and fishing piers. Additional amenities include two covered pavilions available for rent, a softball field and volleyball areas.
*As of April 1st, 2021 Admission will be $5 per person. Kids 5 and under as well as Seniors over 65 are Free. We accept Cash, Checks and NOW Credit Cards (fee will apply.)*
Hours for the Lake Park:
April through October is 9 am to 7 pm
November through March is 9 am to 5 pm
Reservations and rental fees for the pavilions may be obtained by contacting the Park office staff directly at 936-788-8302.
Large Pavilion: 20X30 with electricity, water, and a built in grill.
Small Pavilion: 10X20 covered area.

*NO ALCOHOL PERMITTED ON PARK GROUNDS *Please, no dogs allowed.
*Closed on Monday’s for maintenance (except for certain holiday’s as decided by Commissioner Pct. 1 office)
*No lifeguards. All shoreline roped off for swimming, no boat or jet ski entry.
*Inflatables of any type are not allowed
*No paddle boards, kayaks, or motorized boats
